Universe update 3-Improved Security through Geo Blocking

To reduce the possibility of a cyber-attack on Firstcom Europe’s platform, Universe, we have barred access via local networks from the countries in the list below. This is called Geo Blocking.

This means in these countries people will not have;

• Access to the Selfcare portal
• Ability to use or provision a SIP phone
• Use of softphone

It is, however, possible for companies to construct their own international networks with VPNs, MPLS and other technologies, should they require access for an overseas office.

Geo blocked Countries
